Nice Airport Terminal 1 or 2: where to meet your private driver

Nice Côte d'Azur airport has two terminals, a few hundred metres apart. Knowing which one you land at, and what to send your driver, makes the arrival effortless.

In short

Your private driver meets you in the arrivals hall of the terminal you land at, Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, at a meeting point confirmed when you book. Your flight number is tracked, so the driver adjusts to the real landing time. If you end up at the wrong terminal, a free shuttle links T2, T1 and Grand Arénas.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

Nice Côte d'Azur, which welcomed a record 15.2 million passengers in 2025, operates two terminals. Your terminal depends on your airline and is shown on your booking or boarding pass. If you are not sure, simply send your flight number: your driver checks the terminal and the gate on the day.

A free shuttle runs between Terminal 2, Terminal 1 and the Grand Arénas area, so a mix-up is never a disaster, but it does cost a few minutes.

Where exactly will my driver wait?

In the arrivals hall of your terminal, after baggage reclaim and customs. The precise meeting point is confirmed when you book, and you receive Sébastien's mobile number before your trip. A name sign is available on request, which is useful when you are collecting a guest or a client.

Taxis use dedicated ranks on the arrivals level (gate A1 at Terminal 1, gate A3 at Terminal 2). A private driver does not wait at the taxi rank: look for your driver in the hall, not in the taxi queue.

What to send before you land

  • Flight number and date (the terminal is deduced from it).
  • Number of passengers and suitcases, plus any oversized items (golf bags, skis, pushchair, child seat needed).
  • Your destination address, ideally with a gate code for villas.
  • A mobile number reachable abroad, or WhatsApp.

When your flight is delayed

Your flight is tracked, and the pick-up time follows the actual landing. You do not need to call. Once you have your luggage, send a short WhatsApp message ("bags collected") and your driver is ready by the time you reach the exit.

Lost luggage or long passport queue?

It happens, especially on flights from outside the Schengen area. Send a message as soon as you can: your driver waits and adapts. Being reachable is the only thing that matters.

Popular transfers from both terminals

To Monaco, allow 50 min and €61 during the day. To the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, €57. All fares come from a published scale (€10 pick-up, then €1.50 per km in the Alpes-Maritimes (06), €2.50 per km in the Var (83) and €1.80 per km in Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, tolls included) and are confirmed at booking. Booking for someone else

Many bookings are made by an assistant, a host or a family member for a guest arriving in Nice. In that case, give the passenger's name and mobile number: the driver contacts them directly, holds a name sign if requested and keeps you informed once the guest is on board.

Departures: dropping you at the right terminal

For your return flight, your driver drops you at the departures level of the right terminal. Send your flight number again when you confirm the pick-up time, so the terminal is checked on the day.

Your driver, Sébastien, is French and drives every booking himself. Messages in English by WhatsApp or email are welcome.
